Hello October! And The Fall Chill...

Frost advisory this morning was a great call, as we are seeing the coolest air of the season so far...Temperatures this morning (outside of I-465) hovered in the middle to upper 30s.  In protected areas and low spots in your yard should have some patchy frost at or just after sunrise!

Great Weather Holding...Warmest of October!

Tuesday's high of 69 degrees marked the first day above normal in 23 days...yes 23 days!!!  This stretch of nice weather continues today with highs in the middle 70s, under mostly sunny skies!  As of now, October's average temperature is nearly 7 degrees above normal...even a better reason to enjoy today!  Lady bug alert:  look for them to be creeping into your house this afternoon...you have been warned!

Rainy Afternoon Shaping Up!

Dry weather and mild this morning...rain clouds this afternoon!  Changes are a comin'...rains arrival by 2pm in most areas will mark the beginning of a wet 36 hours.  Average rainfall should push between 1 to 2" totals by Saturday morning.  Flooding not a concern but any storm drains covered with leaves should be cleared today!  Look for a cooler weekend...more on that on FOX 59, we're on til 9:00AM.

Rain Falling...Weekend Turns Chilly!

Heavy areas of rain continue to fall this morning...most spots have received about .50 to 1" of rain so far.  Look for more scattered showers today but no severe weather expected and no flooding expected too...

Showers will taper this evening as colder air works into the area.  Friday night football should have us under cloudy skies, and chilly, damp conditions with pockets of light drizzle.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy and cooler with a few spotty showers...a better day on Sunday!

Weekend Forecast Improving...Still Cool!

Latest computer models indicate less in the way of showers and more in the way of sunshine...It appears most shower activity will be confined to early on Saturday morning and widely scattered...clouds will race across the city in the morning with afternoon sunshine peeking through...Highs in the lower 50s for Saturday...More sun on Sunday should push us near 60!  Have a great and safe weekend!

Clouds Move In...Rain Not Far Behind!

A weak but well defined storm system looming down south will slowly bring some rain to central Indiana later today!  This morning's commute should be dry under mostly cloudy skies.  As the day wears on, clouds will thicken and rain chances will increase...Better chances for rain by tonight.  This storm will move through taking most rain out of here by Wednesday morning.  Look for warmer temperatures to arrive by Thursday...

Rain Exiting...Sunshine Returns!

Light to moderate rain fell from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning...Rainfall total for the city was 0.45".  Now, the rain has lifted toward northeastern Ohio and should bring us a return to sunshine later today with slightly milder temperatures.  Forecasted high today is 62-degrees.  Look for the warmest day of October to arrive Thursday with highs in the lower 70s, on dry southeast winds!

Rain and storms return on Friday which will usher in cooler conditions for the upcoming Halloween weekend!  More on FOX 59 right now!

Warmest of the Month? Storms Arrive Tomorrow...

October 23rd marks the only 70-degree day of the month...We may be adding to that later today as warm air pushes in from the south.  Some patchy fog around this morning out the door, otherwise plenty of sunshine for later today!  The official forecasted high today is 72-degrees.   Rain and storms to hit the area mainly after midnight tonight!  Rain could be heavy at times during Friday morning's rush hour.  Another warm and windy day for Friday before cooler weather moves in for the weekend...More on FOX 59 right now!
