A SUPER SOAKER OF A FRIDAY AS RAIN TAKES HOLD!

Rain will continue to become more widespread today. Make sure you have your umbrella before you head out the door!
A cold front extending from Canada all the way to Louisiana is the culprit for the showers and thunderstorms we'll see today. Heavy rain will continue throughout the day and into the evening and overnight hours. When everything is said and done tomorrow afternoon, 1-3 inches of rain is possible, with isolated areas seeing more.

We aren't expecting any severe weather, just heavy rain, gusty winds (up to 45 mph!) and temperatures in the low to mid 60's all day. Tonight we'll see temperatures dip into the mid to upper 40's with heavy rain continuing overnight.

For our Halloween forecast we'll start it off wet, with scattered showers scooting off to the west. We'll keep the threat for a few sprinkles on and off tomorrow afternoon and evening, but remain mainly DRY for our trick-or-treating forecasting with mostly cloudy skies.

Temperatures tomorrow will be cooler with highs only in the low 50's. Come Sunday, partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid 50's. Monday we'll see a chance for an isolated shower, but after that we're smooth sailing for a few days. Temperatures in the low to mid 50's all week with partly cloudy skies. Have a fun and safe Halloween!
