Northeast winds will pick up later this afternoon making for a cooler day...Shower chances will be limited so only expect a few sprinkles or small shower chance in your neighborhood! Skies clearing tonight as winds die down allowing for a colder start to Veterans' Day...Sunshine returning tomorrow and lasting for the rest of the workweek, making for a nice warming trend into the weekend...enjoy!

It is Veterans' Day and sunshine is returning...In fact, sunshine should dominant from sunrise to sunset. Unfortunately, steady northeast winds will turn gusty from 15 to 25 mph which at tiems will make for a cooler afternoon. Afternoon highs should climb to the middle to upper 50s. More sun today with highs in the upper 50s, plus not as windy! This should make for a very nice afternoon, after a frosty start this morning. Warm-up still looks on target for the upcoming weekend...Highs both Friday and Saturday will push the upper 60s with dry conditions. Sunday brings the threat of rain and cooler conditions, this could make for damp conditions before the colts game...We'll keep you posted!

All systems a-go for the weekend warm-up...Plenty of sunshine expected this morning and afternoon should push our temperatures back into the 60s today. The combination of sun, dry air and light winds should make for a great day! More warmth and hazy sun for Saturday will push afternoon highs into the middle and upper 60s. Rain chances return on Sunday, but chances look weak, so I don't anticipate a wash-out for Sunday or for tailgating at the LUC!

Slow moving storm system brings clouds and rain to the area today and for the next several days out...Back to more November-like weather, as highs will hover in the lower to middle 50s. Rain totals will range greatly as some will definitely see more than others. This storm is producing snow in the central plains, none expected here as the track keeps it all west!

Heavy fog is settling in around the area, mainly west of I-65 this morning where the skies have gone mostly clear...reports of freezing fog this morning in Bloomington. Look for the fog to begin to lift after 9:00am this morning, as sunshine builds in! Finally a dry day with sunshine...its been awhile! Look for highs today in the middle 50s here in the circle city. After a beautiful weekend..slight changes today with more clouds around. This should keep afternoon highs down a bit with highs in the middle to lower 50s. Rain chances start to move back in on Tuesday and build on Wednesday, as temperatures begin their slide into much colder air! By Thursday, temperatures will be cold enough for rain to change to snow, as this storm begins to deepen...This will make for pretty cold conditions, wind and the possiblity of light accumulations on grassy areas. Stay tuned!

Another mild day shaping up with mostly dry conditions, under mostly cloudy skies...this will be the last mild day for awhile as colder air is on track for Thanksgiving Day. Expect rain chances to increase later tonight into Wednesday afternoon...colder air will begin to intrude by Thursday morning as rain changes over to snow showers. For now, no accumulations are expected but roads will be damp in areas for Thursday morning travel. A much larger storm is brewing for early next week...This could form into our first significant snow of the season...we will keep you posted!!!

Mostly cloudy skies with showers to continue this afternoon...If you are traveling across the Midwest or Ohio Valley this afternoon...roads will be wet and NOT icy. Snow is not forecasted for Indianapolis UNTIL Thursday morning and especially into the afternoon...it appears accumulations will be concentrated mainly to grassy areas (one inch possible in most areas...Some roads could be covered quickly under intense snow bands...Along with the light snow expect gusty winds too...this will make for a chilly Thanksgiving Day! Cloudy skies should give way to some sunshine today with highs remaining chilly in the middle 40s...Breezy winds will add a chill so be sure to dress for the upper 30s and lower 40s...Winds turn southwest Tuesday which should help our temperatures climb into the middle 50s...ENJOY IT!!! The bottom begins to fall out on Wendesday as rain moves in, followed by snow on Thursday. We are expecting some accumulations on Thursday but how much is to soon to determine at this time...this winter storm will unleash sharply colder air that will take us through the first weekend of December.
