CHILLY AIR LINGERS BUT A WARM UP STILL ON TRACK
Reinforcing cool air will settle south behind a cold front late Wednesday. The chill will ease later this week as warmer air returns in time for the weekend.
Sprinkles and light rain accompany a brief warm up late Tuesday night ahead of another clipper type system. With a chance of light rain or sprinkles early Wednesday the day should be rain free. The cold front associated with the system will swing through between 9 PM to Midnight. Skies will clear by Thursday morning.
Thursday remains cool with sunny skies while a warm front develops across the central plains states. A southwest wind will develop Friday morning bringing 60 degree temperatures back Friday afternoon and upper 60's by Saturday. It will remain mild into early next week with the chance of showers returning Monday night and Tuesday.
