WARMEST WEEKEND SINCE LATE SEPTEMBER
A warm front passed central Indiana early Friday afternoon bringing southwest winds and a jump to 60 degrees. Warmer air arrives Saturday and hold into early next week.
The winds increase Saturday afternoon and gust to 30 mph while transporting very mild air into the state. Forecast high temperatures of 70 Saturday and 68 Sunday will make this the warmest weekend since September 27th and 28th.
Summer-like high temperatures reached central Nebraska Friday afternoon with a high of 81 at Valentine and even a few 90's were reported in Oklahoma.
There are no storm systems on the maps late Friday night. A weak front will carry some thin high clouds in Saturday but a mostly sunny day is expected and more sun for Sunday.
The threat for rain will return late Monday night and early Tuesday. Much Cooler air is coming Wednesday.
