6 to 8 HOURS OF SNOW FOLLOWED BY MORE COLD AIR

SNOW BREAKS OUT TONIGHT IN ADVANCE OF A REINFORCING SHOT OF COLD AIR.  A WEEKEND SOUTHERN STORM BEING MONITORED.

Another round of snow will arrive in central Indiana Wednesday evening.  Snow is expected to arrive in the city after 7 PM and before 8 PM.  Accumulation could reach around one inch before the snow departs before day break Thursday morning.

The snow will be kicked east as winds shift to the northwest around 4 AM with the passage of a cold front.  The cold air will take hold through the weekend and help suppress a strong southern storm system.

15 different states in the south are under some form of a winter advisory.  States included are New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky.  Up to a foot of snow is expected through Saturday morning along with significant icing.
