SUNSHINE RETURNS...IT'S ABOUT TIME!

After several days with little to no sunshine, we can finally expect to see some today.

However, no matter how many times we click our heels like Dorothy, we aren't going to see any warmer temperatures with this sunshine. There's a price tag to everything...and today with the sunshine we'll see highs in the low to mid 20's. We'll keep some sunshine around again tomorrow with highs a *little* warmer in the mid to upper 20's. Either way, we're still going to stay a few degrees below average as this arctic high pressure system continues to dominate our weather pattern. We can expect a minor disturbance move through late Monday night into Tuesday morning, but until then we're going to see a mixture of sun and clouds and eventually the low 30's come Monday. As far as snow is concerned we could see some develop late Monday and stay with us through Tuesday. This doesn't look to be a huge player in our weather forecast as far as accumulation but it's something we'll continue to monitor. Highs on Tuesday are expected to be in the low to mid 30's. It looks like we could finally bounce above freezing come Tuesday. By Wednesday we'll see some clouds and a few peaks of sun with highs making their way into the mid to upper 30's. Thursday and Friday will provide us with temperatures still in the mid to upper 30's with a chance for some rain and snow. For an updated look at the forecast tune into Fox59 news at ten, tonight. Until then, enjoy the sunshine!
