SUNSHINE TURNS TO SNOW...SOON.
Hopefully everyone was able to soak it up because we're going to see a change in our weather pattern in the next 24-36 hours. Tonight we'll remain cold once again with most areas dipping into the low teens. We will see wind chill readings at or below zero. This cold stretch is starting to become the norm...but finally, temps above freezing are in sight! Tomorrow areas will break the freezing mark with most locations topping out right around freezing. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds tomorrow with clouds increasing late afternoon into evening. Late tomorrow night we could see a few snow flakes fly, especially in our northwestern counties while more significant snow is expected to form in the early morning hours on Tuesday. This system is a little up in the air still, but it looks as if some areas could pick up minor accumulations as snow starts to fall before rush hour Tuesday morning and lingers throughout the day on Tuesday. The timing of this system looks to be an issue as roads could become covered for the morning commute on Tuesday. Slick conditions look to be possible. Please check back with us tonight on Fox59 news at ten for the latest on this system as we continue to fine tune it's arrival. Temperatures look to stay above freezing, and even near 40, towards the middle and end of the work week. We are watching another developing storm that could arrive as early as Friday bringing us rain and snow. We'll also continue to track the weather in Miami for all of the Colts fans that plan to head south this week. As always we keep our blog updated everyday and you can look at live radar and other neat features on Fox59.com, click on weather.
