Snow showers and brisk winds will continue to create hazardous travel across much of central Indiana through the Tuesday morning commute. Overnight snowfall should remain light but local accumulations of up to one inch remains possible. A brisk northwest wind will also create blowing and drifting snow especially away from the city. Authorities across many central Indiana counties urge extreme caution when traveling early Wednesday.
SNOWFALL TOTALS
South central Indiana takes the brunt of the snow. The NWS Indianapolis reports 6.1" of snow through 7PM Monday. Snowfall amounts drop off quickly north of Indianapolis, heaviest snow fell to the south. The epicenter of this snow is across southern Morgan - Johnson - Monroe - Bartholomew and extended into Jennings Counties.

LONG RANGE
Snow showers are likely Tuesday - with lingering flurries Wednesday. The next system may come together late Friday into Saturday morning. This is early but the European and Japanese Long Range models are indicating several inches of snow possible by Saturday afternoon. Stay tuned
