Winds are easing across central Indiana along with the scattered snow showers and flurries. Haze and fog will linger and create some travel concerns for Wednesday morning. Visibility is dropping over parts of central Indiana and within the haze and fog spotty freezing drizzle has developed.
A chilly Wednesday is expected but there is some hope of sunshine early. The cold flow aloft will encourage clouds to thicken again and a few flurries are possible during the afternoon.
A CHANCE OF SUN!
Improvements are expected for Thursday and Friday. A mix of sun and clouds is forecast for Thursday with increasing clouds for Friday in advance of the next possible snow maker.
WEEKEND SNOW?
Computer forecasts continue to show an area of low pressure over the pan handle of Texas and Oklahoma tracking to northeast Arkansas by Saturday morning. Snow is expected to break out north of the system and make its way into central and south central Indiana Saturday morning. Most forecasts weaken the system as it moves east by Sunday morning. These models also suggest a second storm arriving Monday and Tuesday. Stay tuned - other solutions indicate a more robust system perhaps combining the energy into one stronger storm for Sunday. A lot watch and we will. Be sure to check back through the week.
