WELCOMED SUN THURSDAY WILL BE BRIEF

SKIES CLEARED ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA THURSDAY AFTERNOON BUT IT WILL BE SHOERT LIVED.  TWO SYSTEMS WILL BRING SNOW THIS WEEKEND.

A look from the tower cam Thursday afternoon showing sunshine finally arriving in central Indiana.  Skies will clear and pave the way to a chilly night.  Temperatures are expected to drop into the middle teens Friday morning.

Clouds are already gathering out west -  signaling the first system of the weekend is taking shape.  Clouds will increase again Friday with the chance of snow returning as early as Saturday morning.  While snowfall accumulation will be light Saturday - up to an inch - this system is expected to weaken or shear as it crosses the area but will be monitored for any additional snow potential.

Storm number two is still taking shape off the west coast tonight.  Long range computer forecasts are still indicating a favorable storm track with snow moving into the area as early as Sunday evening.  The track will be monitored this evening and we will have an update on this storm later tonight.
