WARM UP SLOWED WEDNESDAY - MILDER THIS WEEKEND

THE HIGH TUESDAY OF 43 DEGREES WAS THE WARMEST IN INDIANAPOLIS IN OVER A MONTH.  CLOUDS AND SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR RETURN WEDNESDAY.

A HINT OF SPRING IN MY OWN FRONT YARD TUESDAY!

The high Tuesday still failed to reach the normal mark here but felt good with some sunshine.  The last time the thermometer reached 43 was January 24th.  Clouds have returned again Wednesday night with temps expected to settle in the mid to upper 20's Wednesday morning.

A push of cooler air Wednesday will once again keep the string of below normal days going but it's a temporary setback.  Milder air will arrive with the return of sunshine Thursday and Friday.  High's by the end of the work week will return to the lower and middle 40's.

Milder air this weekend will arrive with increasing clouds ant the threat of some light rain or a few showers.  High's Saturday and Sunday could push 50 before a front passes the area Sunday evening.

A larger and wetter system is in the works for the middle of next week.
