We started the weekend hot and steamy, and we're going to end it the exact same way for Father's Day. Temperatures are going to top out around 90 degrees today with plenty of sunshine. While the humidity won't be as bad as yesterday, temperatures will feel every bit of 90 degrees , if not more.
We've been dealing with a "heat wave" the past few days, but the hottest air has yet to affect Indiana...and the storms will accompany that heat, too. While most of the day will remain dry, an isolated chance for showers and storms does exist later tonight into tomorrow morning. This will be on a very isolated basis as the widespread storms are still developing to the west, and I don't expect them to have a major affect on us until the upcoming work week.
A better chance for storms, and temperatures nearing 100 degrees, are right around the corner. Tonight on Fox59 news at ten, I'll be tracking a HOT and stormy weather pattern.
Have a great day!
